Pregnant?

So, I have been feeling really weird lately; moody, emotional, not sleeping, nauseous, really out of it. I took a pregnancy test on Tuesday and it came back positive!  If I have calculated correctly, I am about 3 1/2 weeks along.

Not going to lie, but I am terrified!  I am just nervous about the monetary aspect.  But we will work it out!  Team Bravo!!!

So that is all the scuttlebutt for now!

Crochet

So my friend Stacy taught me how to crochet, and it is a lot of fun!  I cannot wait to get into more patterns and yarn color changes!  I got inspired by this super awesome cupcake hat on Etsy.  That and I have a weirdly huge head and it's hard to find beanies that fit properly. :D My technique is pretty good so far, I just forget to count the number of rows so I am currently making a green blob. Ha ha ha, which Carlos said he would proudly wear.

I cannot wait until it gets cold. I have recently bought a bunch of new sweaters that are really adorable. I also cannot wait to start school, get my certification so we can move to Georgia.  I love where my dad lives, the people are friendly, granted they look at Carlos funny since he is "one of them there Hispanics".

I am excited to make my first scarf once I get my technique (counting) down. Becoming kind of Suzy Homemaker type since I've been laid off.

Moving??

So it is not a secret that I hate Florida. I HATE the heat, I hate the people and their lack of driving skills, everyone is rude, no one has any manners.  Carlos received a phone call two weeks ago at his Job from an AAP in Gainesville, Ga offering him a job. HUH. We are currently in the process of trying to save money so we can move after I finish school.  I start November 1st, and I believe I will finish in Sept 2011.  This way we can save up, still be here for my sisters wedding, and I can have a certification when we move. It will make finding a job easier. :D

I will miss my mom more than words can express, even thinking of moving away from her makes my chest ache, but I hate Florida. I do not want us raising a family down here, which is a WHOLE OTHER CAN OF WORMS. I am not even sure I can get pregnant. Hah. Yes, I said it.

With us moving to Georgia and living with my dad, it will enable us to take care of our debt, save up for a home, and to actually start a savings account. Imagine actually having a savings account with more than $100.

I am just ready for a change of pace/scenery/climate.

First and foremost

Tomorrow is my husband's 30th Birthday, and with his love for the UFC, I made an octagon cake.  One would never have guessed that replicating an octagon in template form would be as difficult as it was.  I ended up printing a template from the internet since I was about to lose my mind after almost two hours.

Still unemployed, but going back to school in November. I hope to try and get my sweets and treats business of the ground.

Carlos got a job offer in Ga. and now we are in the works trying to save up to move. My father said we can live in his basement until we get our debt in order.

Thats about all for now.
